Salary Range:
$64,000.00 to $80,000.00 Annually. Salary will be dependent upon experience.

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing engineering support to our water resources group by assisting with various engineering. Discipline involves preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, diagrams, and exhibits. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and landscape architects to deliver complex riverine, stormwater, watershed master planning, and water/wastewater projects.

Essential Functions:
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D including corridor modeling surface creation, grading and drainage, channel corridors, alignments and profiles
  • Completes assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, site grading, plotting, and drafting. Works closely with engineers to prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches using CAD software programs
  • Revises or changes drawings and completes calculations
  • Understands and follows the company's standard CAD procedures
  • Quality checks design work to ensure plans are complete and accurate
  • Establishes and maintains working relationships with other employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree or certification in CAD or equivalent job experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience with general civil drafting, surface development/manipulation, creating alignments, profiles and cross sections, civil plan set preparation
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and standard drafting practices
  • Civil 3D experience

The expected salary range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
