Gensler Denver is seeking an aspiring mid-level design professional (Interiors) to join a team of like-minded professionals who are also passionate about making an impact through design and creating memorable design experiences. As a member of this team you will be asked to collaborate with senior designers and participate in all phases of the project. Project types include workplace for professional services firms, financial service firms, technology companies, and government sectors. Attributes that will make you successful in this position include and are not limited to, being a self-starter and a holistic thinker who is not afraid to ask questions, and actively participates in generating design ideas. What You Will Do
Work in a team environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on varying project types
Participate in all project phases: project strategy, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, consultant coordination, construction documents, and construction administration
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, material palettes, light fixtures, and equipment
Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations
Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, and specification
Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections
Establish relationships with local vendors and develop an understanding of product offerings
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, product representatives, fabricators, and other vendors to achieve project objectives
Clearly communicate your design ideas to the project team
Participate and contribute to office and firm culture
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field from an accredited school
Minimum 3-5 years of post-graduate interior design experience required
Experience with workplace projects
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Revit
Strong conceptual thinker
Close attention to detail and technical abilities
Passion for and experience implementing sustainable practices on projects
Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software such as Enscape or Vray
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong graphic and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, and specifications
Self-motivated, eager to learn and can work on multiple projects at once
Position is located in Denver, Colorado

Compensation is based upon experience and the estimated range is $60,000 - $75,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.
