Other areas of support include preparing master, management, and maintenance plans, visual impact assessments, cultural landscape assessments, and stormwater management plans. The position gives candidates a unique opportunity to be involved in projects throughout their life cycle and expand their interests into other technical groups. The level of experience being sought ideally is within 2-6 years. Pinyon is interested in discussing this opportunity with more experienced candidates, particularly if they can expand our current capabilities in natural resources-focused landscape architecture, natural resources planning and restoration, stream and/or riparian system restoration, or other areas.

  • Willingness to learn technical and biological aspects of wetland, riparian, and threatened and endangered species mitigation plan design, permitting, and mitigation.
  • Applied knowledge of natural resources master planning.
  • Applied knowledge of stream restoration, stream morphology, etc.
  • Experience with developing Landscape Restoration and Mitigation Plans including grading plans; reclamation and restoration of complex or sensitive ecological environments is essential; stream and/or riparian resources restoration planning is desired.
